I'm joining the Writers' Guild of Alberta board!

Writers' Guild of Alberta

The Writers' Guild of Alberta held its Annual General Meeting and board elections on June 22nd, 2026. I am grateful and excited to start my two-year term as a member at large.

As a board member, I will foster inclusive initiatives where all WGA members feel safe, seen and supported. I will increase WGA’s reach in the Bow Valley (Banff, Canmore and beyond) by collaborating with WGA groups in the province to expand connection and development opportunities for all writers. I am excited to contribute to WGA's mission and vision, a mandate that I fully embrace:

The WGA's vision: "A thriving writing community that is diverse, valued, and celebrated."
